Who we are
MizDauntless Services (“MizDauntless”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of the information described here. You can reach us at info@mizdauntless.com about anything on this page, including a request to delete your data.
What we collect
When you send a project brief
The form asks for what it needs to reply usefully, and nothing beyond that:
- Your description of the problem, in your own words
- The focus areas, timing and team size you select
- Company name and, optionally, your role
- Your name and work email, and a phone number only if you choose to give one
- Whether you opted in to occasional emails from us
- The page address you arrived from, including any campaign tags in the link
The page also reads your description to suggest which focus areas apply. That happens in your browser using simple keyword rules — no artificial intelligence, no external service, and nothing is sent anywhere until you press send.
When you book a review
Our scheduling page collects your name, email and chosen time so the meeting can be created in our calendar.
When you email us
We keep the correspondence so we can pick up the conversation where it left off.
Technical information
Our host, Cloudflare, records standard request information such as IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running. Cloudflare Web Analytics also counts page visits for us. It sets no cookies and doesn’t identify you.
Cookies
Only if you accept cookies, HubSpot’s analytics cookies record which pages of this site you visit. If you later send us a brief or book a call, those visits are linked to your contact record, so we can see what you were reading before you got in touch. If you decline, these cookies aren’t set and nothing else about the site changes.
We don’t run advertising trackers, and we never sell or share information about your visits for advertising. You can change your choice at any time: cookie settings.
If you start a brief and don’t finish it, your unfinished answers are saved in your own browser so you can pick up where you left off. That draft never reaches us, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Please don’t send us sensitive information
The brief form asks you not to include passwords, account numbers, tax identification numbers, client records or anything confidential. We don’t need any of it to understand an operational problem, and we don’t want to hold it. If you send something sensitive by mistake, tell us and we’ll delete it.
Why we hold it
- To reply to you and prepare for a conversation you asked for. This is the main reason, and it covers everything in the brief.
- To run our business records — keeping track of who we have spoken to, what was discussed and what was agreed.
- To send occasional emails, only if you ticked the box. That consent is separate from your brief, and you can withdraw it at any time.
- To keep the site secure and protect it from abuse.
We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or add you to a marketing list because you sent us a brief.
Who else processes it
We use a small number of established providers to run the business. They process information on our instructions, and each is bound by its own agreement with us. All of them store data in the United States.
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosts this website, protects it from abuse and counts page visits without cookies |
| HubSpot | Our customer record system, scheduling pages and, if you accept cookies, website analytics |
| Resend | Sends the acknowledgement and internal alert emails |
| Google Workspace | Our email and calendar |
If an engagement ever requires another provider to be involved, we will say so before it happens.
How long we keep it
We keep briefs and contact records while there is a live conversation or an active relationship, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick things up again if you come back. We review what we hold at least once a year and remove what no longer has a purpose.
Where we are required to keep records for tax or contractual reasons, we keep those for as long as the law requires. Anything you ask us to delete, we delete — see below.
Your choices
- See what we hold. Ask and we’ll tell you.
- Correct it. If something is wrong, we’ll fix it.
- Have it deleted. Ask and we’ll remove it, except anything we must keep by law.
- Stop hearing from us. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can simply reply and say so.
- Stop us contacting you at all. Tell us and we’ll close the record.
Email info@mizdauntless.com and we’ll respond within 30 days, usually much sooner. We won’t charge you, and we won’t treat you differently for asking. Depending on where you live, these rights may also be guaranteed to you by law, including under New Jersey’s data privacy act and, for visitors from the UK or EU, the GDPR.
How we protect it
The site is served over an encrypted connection. The keys that let the site write to our systems are held in encrypted storage on the server and are never present in your browser. Access to our customer records is limited to the people who need it. Where we work with a client’s own systems, we start with read-only access, never ask for passwords by email, and remove our access when the engagement ends.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affected your information, we would tell you and the relevant authorities promptly.
Children
This site is for people doing business. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be explained here rather than buried.
